Long sleeves are not the only remedy for sagging upper arms. An arm lift, technically called a brachioplasty, can recontour, lift, and tighten the upper arm by surgically removing skin and fat tissue.
Arm lifts are usually performed under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Incisions are made between the armpit and the elbow, and sutures are used to close the wounds.
