Duc Tien, MD
Job Title
Head & Neck SurgeonAbout Me
I am a Head and Neck Surgeon, also known as an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist or Otolaryngologist.
A San Francisco-native, I studied Molecular Cell Biology during my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. While completing medical school at UCLA, I developed a passion for understanding diseases affecting the head and neck. I then completed a rigorous residency training in Otolaryngolgy-Head and Neck Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. In addition, I spent one year of fellowship training to further advance my expertise in managing and treating diseases affecting the nose, sinuses and skull base.
I am an active member of several national and international societies to stay current with evidence-based management and techniques for treating head and neck diseases.
I am very excited to be part of Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa, since joining the group in 2017, and to be back in the Bay Area where I grew up. I joined Kaiser Permanente because it allows me to practice medicine in a collegial, multidisciplinary environment amongst primary care providers, specialists and other healthcare professionals. No other healthcare system integrates patient well-being as comprehensively as Kaiser Permanente. I am privileged to be a part of your healthcare team.
