About Me

I was a “happy Kaiser Permanente baby” when I was growing up in the South Bay Area.  My family and I liked the integrated healthcare system; we were very satisfied with all the great medical services that we had received as valuable Kaiser Permanente members.  After I completed my medical school and dermatology training, I was excited to join and be a part of The Permanente Medical Group, an organization with a good reputation for providing consistent high quality care to members year after year.

My interests include lasers, cosmetic dermatology and general dermatology.  I believe that the skin is an important organ system with various essential physiological functions but also has a unique feature:  it can visibly be seen, and be adorned with tattoos, piercings, or even scars entailing one’s personal past experiences.  I am excited to be your dermatologist at Kaiser Permanente.  I want to provide you and your family with the highest quality of care for all of your dermatological needs and thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be your “skin-coach.”

I enjoy travelling, hiking, amateur photography, checking out local eateries, and standup paddle boarding (yes, my new hobby!).
