About Me
I entered the field of medicine to pursue a career that would prove not only challenging and rewarding, but one based at its core on helping others in an important way, particularly in times of need. My long standing interest in drawing and painting led me in part to plastic surgery. The specialty blends the technical aspects of surgery with creative and aesthetic concepts. Additionally, plastic surgery allows me to address each patient’s unique problem in an individualized fashion and to design an operation tailored specifically to that patient’s need using a palate of principles and potential options.
I joined Kaiser Permanente because it allows me to practice the full spectrum of plastic surgical skills and techniques in which I am trained while focusing my time on my patients and not diluting my day with administrative duties or endless request for approval of operations or tests. My Philosophy on Healing is to partner with my patients, come up with a surgical plan that they understand and agree with, and take them through the perioperative period in as comfortable and non threatening way possible.
