About Me

I was born in San Francisco, graduated from UC Berkeley with Honors, and completed medical school at Boston University. This was followed by an eight-year general surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University that included three years of tissue engineering research at Stanford University. I then completed fellowships in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Johns Hopkins and hand surgery at Stanford.

I have published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and have presented at surgical meetings throughout the world.  I am excited to be part of the Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa plastic surgery team and am grateful for the opportunity to serve Sonoma County. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, tennis, and traveling.
